In Kotae’s board game library, you can challenge your wits and luck with go, mahjong and many other games. We will publish more information about game lending and locations before the event.

Riichi-Mahjong

Come and play Japanese Riichi-Mahjong. Riichi-Mahjong is a game that requires a little brainstorming for four players. Guided teaching is organized on Saturday and Sunday. Free play at other times. Come try mahjong or find yourself a game club if you are already familiar with the game!

Board game library

Do you and your friends have a spare moment? From the library area, you can borrow board games for yourself and your friends to pass the time. There are dozens of different games to choose from. Don’t worry if you don’t know the rules, foxy librarians will help you choose a suitable game and tell you the rules if you want. The library is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Finnish board game society

The Finnish board game society was established as a community and interest organization for Finnish board game enthusiasts. The club promotes Finnish board game culture by organizing game clubs in several locations, game events, competitions and other hobby activities.

Go – a Chinese board game

Go is an ancient strategy game from China, where the players compete over who can  conquer most area on a 19 x 19 board via use of black or white stones.

Gaming is organized by Tampere Go club, Tenpai. You can find us on Facebook with the search term “Tampere Go Baduk Weiqi Club”

Guided teaching is organized on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
