Are you attending Kotae Expo with the whole family?

As an event, Kotae Expo is an excellent fit for children as well, as we offer plenty of activities from dawn to dusk for all ages. Any age restricted program will be marked as so in the program description.

If wandering around the Exhibition Centre or watching the program tires out the younger ones, you can always drop by our children’s play area.

The opening hours of the children’s play area

The opening hours for 2025 will be published at a later date.

Children’s play area

If it seems like a long expo day is starting to tire out the small ones, you can always drop by the children’s play area! In the play area, the children can play, draw and color, read or build with blocks! The guardian can take a breather at the play area while supervising their own children or they can leave the kids at the hands of our event’s nannies while they go to see the program, eat or take part in a workshop.

In the children’s play area, the available spots are determined by the amount of nannies present. If the play area is full, the guardian will get informed by the nanny. The nannies will also be able to inform you when there’s room available again.

The instructions of the play area

    • Children can be left with the play area’s nannies for up to 1,5 hours at a time.

    • The child’s name and the phone number of the guardian will be written on a sticker that will be attached to the child’s clothing when arriving to the play area.

    • There’s limited spots in the play area. The guardian should consult the nannies before leaving their child at the play area, even if the child has been there before.

    • The nannies will keep an eye on the playing children and assist with the activities if needed. The nannies will guide the activities in a way that ensures that the play area will stay a safe playground for even the smallest visitors.

    • There’s no set age limit for the play area. The recommended age of the children is 3-10 years, but we won’t be asking or verifying the ages of the visitors. It’s the guardian’s resposibility to ensure that the child isn’t left on the play area without a guardian longer than the child is comfortable with.

    • The nannies can take the child to the bathroom during the visit, but won’t be changing diapers. The guardian will be contacted in the case of an accident.

    • The nannies will not serve food or drinks to the children, including the child’s own, to avoid mixing up food items due to allergy risk.

    • Pay in mind that the event is not responsible for the insurance of the children. The guardian takes responsibility for the child in case something happens. The guardian should make sure that the children have sufficient insurance.

Baby carriages

The venue is accessible also with baby carriages. You can move between different levels with an elevator. Program rooms, and especially corridors, may be crowded at times so moving with a baby carriage might be difficult.

The baby carriages can also be left at the event’s cloakroom for big items.
