Mobile Library Kosmos

Come visit the mobile library Kosmos in Hall A! The Tampere City Library’s mobile library offers a peaceful moment amidst the hustle and bustle of the expo scene. You can borrow manga, anime and other Asian themed literature, or even get a library card. The mobile library also offers other fun activities, such as a pin workshop.

Gaming

Hypecon

Hyvinkään pelitalo and Hypecon offer consoles and PC games for testing in the A-hall during the weekend!

Last year we had a wide range of gaming equipment up for testing, like gaming PCs, Playstation 5s, VR sets, racing sets, Wii U, arcade emulators and an Xbox. The area is organized by Hypecon’s representatives.

Do you feel the boogie? Is your finger already tapping in the rhythm? Come test your sense of rhythm at Peliepelit gaming spot! You’ll find the most popular rhythm games here. We’ll publish a detailed list of the games closer to the event.

Board games

In anime and manga, the drama doesn’t always stem from physical fights and competitions – sometimes inspiration is drawn from the world of board games and card games.

You can challenge your wits and luck with go, mahjong and many other games in Kotae’s Board Game Library.

Fittings

Hanbok fitting

Have you always wanted to try on a lovely Korean hanbok, but never had the chance? Now is your chance! At the King Sejong Institute in Tampere , Hall A, you will have a unique opportunity to try on a Hanbok, a traditional Korean costume, and experience Korean beauty for a moment! Different sizes of women’s and men’s costumes are available. You can take wonderful photos in Hanbok and share them with your friends.

If you wish, you can make a voluntary adjustment payment as a donation via bank transfer or mobilepay.  

Kimono fitting

Tabikauppa’s sales point in the Hall E offers a luxurious opportunity to try out what the most amazing kimonos look like on you! Let Tabikauppa’s master dresser help you put on the kimono of your dreams with the accessories you have chosen, and take photos of yourself in front of the photo walls. Walk around the event space in your kimono, arousing general admiration!

The dressing time is approximately 30 minutes, after which you can wear the kimono for another hour and a half. The kimono will be returned to the Tabikauppa sales point exactly two hours after your reservation time began. You can book an appointment 
in Tabi’s online store  for 35 euros. If there are free times, you can also register at the Tabikauppa sales point and pay for your participation on site. Advance sales are open until the start of the event.

Photo spots

Have you dreamed of a photoshoot moment in an environment that suits your outfit, but the opportunities have been limited? At Kotae Expo, you will find a few different photo walls and spots to take photos in front of! The photo walls are located in Hall A.

Please note that the shooting locations may not have special lighting available in addition to the general lighting of the hall. So, if you wish, prepare for the photoshoot with, for example, a ring light or other light that you can carry with you!
