Kotae Expo 2025 will invite multiple Guests of Honor who are known from Japanese and Korean popular culture. Some of the guests will be visiting the Expo while others will be making a virtual appearance. You can find information about our Guests of Honor from this site.

The first Guest of Honor of Kotae Expo 2025 has been revealed!
Confirmed Guests of Honor for 2025:

– Kanae Nozawa (visiting guest)
– Tamiya Terashima (visiting guest)

What does a virtual guest mean?
A virtual guest will not be present at the premises of the event. Their program will be held via e.g. a video call, where both the audience and the guest can hear each other.

Atsushi Abe
Atsushi Abe is a Japanese voice actor who started his career in 2005. Abe is known from his many familiar roles in series such as Bakuman, Cardfight!! Vanguard, IDOLiSH7, Boruto and Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf, which came out last year. One of Abe’s most well-known roles is the main character of A Certain Magical Index, Tooma – a role which got him the Best New Actor Award from Seiyuu Awards in 2010.
In addition to anime roles, Abe’s voice can be heard in many games as well, including Food Fantasy, Arknights and Digimon Survive as well as the role of Wise in the current smash-hit game from miHoYo, Zenless Zone Zero.
Program:
Atsushi Abe will be making a virtual appearance in an interview show and Q&A session. The schedule of the program will be released closer to the event.

Kanae Nozawa
Kanae Nozawa is an erhu musician whose playing can be heard in various types of music, from anime to J-pop.
In addition to erhu music, Nozawa also works as a singer and songwriter. Her music has been featured on the soundtracks of NARUTO Shippuden, BORUTO, Kingdom, and Hero Tales, among others. She has also played the erhu for J-pop and Enka (traditional Japanese popular music) singers.
Program:
At Kotae Expo, Nozawa and Terashima will appear together in their own talk show and autograph session, in addition to performing live for the Kotae audience.

Tamiya Terashima
Tamiya Terashima is a Japanese composer and arranger who has composed a wide range of music for television series, films, and animations.
He is best known for his compositions for Studio Ghibli’s anime Tales from Earthsea (ゲド戦記, Gedo Senki), but other well-known works by Terashima include music for the video game Breath of Fire 6 and the anime Magical Girl Squad Arusu (Mahō Shōjo Tai Arusu).

At Kotae Expo, Terashima and Nozawa will appear together in their own talk show and autograph session, in addition to performing live for the Kotae audience.
