The Kotae Expo event application offers a digital alternative to traditional paper event magazines! The purpose of the application is to make it easier to get information both before the event, as well as during and after the event.

By downloading the application, you can easily get the map, program list and the important informations of the event in your back pocket.

For Android operating systems

The application for Android devices can be downloaded as an APK file. You can find the two-step instructions for installing the application on your device below.

 

Phase 1

Allow unknown apps on Android

Before you can install an APK file through Chrome, Files by Google, File Manager, or any other app, you need to give that app permission to do so. Permission can be granted through the Settings application.

Certain steps may vary depending on the operating system version on your device, but the basic process is the same.

      • Open the Settings app and tap Apps or Apps & notifications
      • Tap the three dots in the upper right corner. If you don’t see any points, go to the next step.
      • Tap Special access or Special application permissions.
      • (On some devices, the corresponding path can be found in the Android settings under the headings Applications, More menu and Special access.)
      • Tap Install unknown apps.
      • Tap or search for Chrome (or any other web browser of your choice) in the list.
      • Switch the toggle to Allow from this source to turn it on.

Phase 2 

Download the application! 

Once the installation of APK files is allowed, you can download Kotae App from this link!

      • Accept any prompts regarding the file being potentially harmful.
      • Open the file downloaded to the device by clicking on the file name, and select Install.
      • During installation, the Google Play store may offer to check the application. After checking the application, the application will be installed on the device.
         
      • Once the app is installed, you can start using it by opening the app!
