Getting to the Event Venue
Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is located approximately 6 km from the centre of Tampere, near the border of Tampere and Pirkkala. There are several convenient ways to get to the venue: by public transport, by car, or even by plane, as the airport is located fairly close by!

Local Public Transport
By Bus – Local Transport
When travelling to and from Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre using Tampere’s public transport (Nysse), you will need an AB ticket. Nysse does not offer tickets for just one zone. For single and day tickets, three customer groups are eligible for reduced fares: children aged 7–16, young people aged 17–24 and senior citizens aged 65 and over. On Nysse buses and trams, you can pay using a travel card, contactless payment or the Nysse Mobile app.

The taxi stand is located in front of the main entrance of Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The journey from the centre of Tampere takes approximately 15 minutes.
Long-Distance Public Transport
By Bus – Long-Distance Services
Tampere Bus Station is located approximately 5 km from Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The easiest way to get to the venue from the bus station is to take bus number 12 from the stop at Ratina Shopping Centre, behind the bus station.

By Train – Long-Distance Services
Tampere Railway Station is approximately 6 km from Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The easiest way to get to the venue from the railway station is to take a bus from the stop in front of the station: Rautatieasema (stop ID G 0506).

By Plane
Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is only a 15-minute journey from Tampere–Pirkkala Airport.

Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is located on the border between Tampere and Pirkkala, in the Härmälä district. The Tampere ring road E12 runs within sight of the venue. The nearest exit to the venue is exit 42.

Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces around Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. Kotae Expo visitors can use parking area P3. Electric vehicle charging is also available in the area; see below for more information.
Parking at the venue during the event is subject to a fee. The 2026 price will be updated later.
Drop-off and pick-up traffic is free of charge as long as the vehicle is parked for no more than 15 minutes.
You can purchase a parking ticket from the ticket sales points, the main lobby or the northern entrance when arriving at the venue, later during the event or when leaving. The ticket sales points accept card payments, contactless payments and cash.
You do not need to display the parking ticket in your car when arriving at the event. Showing the ticket to the traffic attendant when exiting is sufficient. If you pay for parking for both days at once, you will receive a separate parking ticket for each day.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are located near the main entrance.
Electric Vehicle Charging
There are more than 50 electric vehicle charging points in total around Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The easiest way to find the charging points is to use the map search in the Virta and eParking apps.
Visitor parking area P3 has several parking spaces equipped with charging points. However, the number of spaces is limited, so we cannot guarantee a charging space for everyone.
The nearest fast-charging stations can be found at the Pirkkala K-Citymarket and McDonald’s. In addition, Prisma Pirkkala and Motonet offer charging stations with a charging capacity of 11–50 kW.
