Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is located approximately 6 km from the centre of Tampere, on the border of Pirkkala. You can get to the exhibition centre in many practical ways; by public transport, by car or, quite close, even by plane!

Public transport
By local bus
You will need an AB zone ticket when traveling to and from Tampere Exhibitor and Sports Centre with Tampere public transport (Nysse). It’s not possible to buy a ticket for one zone only. Children aged 7–16, youth aged 17–24 and pensioneers aged 65 and over gets a discount from single tickets and day tickets. The accepted payment methods for the buses and the tram are travel card, contactless payment and Nysse Mobiili app. Please notify that you can’t pay for discounted ticket fares with contactless payment. Fair bus 101
Nyssen’s exhibition bus number 101 operates between Keskustori and Messukeskus approximately every 20 minutes. Check out the detailed timetables for the line .
Bus 12
Nyssen bus number 12 operates between Sorin aukio E and Vaitti, passing directly by Messukeskus, where you can stop at Messukeskus B. Check out the detailed timetables for the line.
By bus – long-distance transport
The Tampere bus station is located approx. 5 km from the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The easiest way to get to the venue from the bus station is to hop on bus number 12 from the Ratina shopping center stop behind the bus station.

The taxi stand is located in front of the main entrance of the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. Driving time from the center of Tampere is about 15 minutes.
On a city bike
One of the Tampere city bicycle stations is next to the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, in connection with the bus stop called Messukeskus B. City bikes are a very convenient and affordable means of transportation, especially between the Exhibition and Sports Center and the center of Tampere as well as the city centre, Kaleva and Hervanta.

By train
The distance from Tampere Railway Station to the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Center is about 6 km. The easiest way to get to the venue from the train station is to hop on a bus from the bus stop in front of the train station: Rautatieasema (stop code G 0506).

By plane
The Tampere Exhibition and Sports Center is located only 15 minutes from Tampere–Pirkkala airport.
By car
Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is located in Härmälä, at the border of Tampere and Pirkkala. Route E12 runs right next to the venue and the closest exit is ramp 42.

Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces around the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. Visitors of Kotae Expo can use parking area P3. You can charge electric cars in the area, read more about it below.
Parking during the event is subject to a fee. Parking costs €10 per day. Total for the entire weekend, Sat-Sun, is €20. Escort and pick-up services are free of charge when parking does not exceed 15 minutes.
You can get a parking ticket from the event ticket booth located in the main lobby and the north entrance. You can buy the ticket when you arrive at the venue, later during the event or when you leave. The payment methods available at the ticket office are card, contactless payment and cash.
You do not need to take your parking ticket with you when you arrive at the event. It is sufficient to hand over the parking ticket to the traffic warden when you drive out. If you pay for both days of parking at once, you will receive two parking tickets from our ticket booth.
Disabled parking
Disabled parking spaces can be found near the main entrance.
Charging of electric cars
The exhibitors’ parking lot P2 has two 22 kW charging stations. The charging of electric cars is not guaranteed at the premises of the event.
The closest charging stations can be found at K-Citymarket Pirkkala and McDonald’s. In addition, Prisma Pirkkala and Motonet offer 11-50 kW charging stations.
